Welcome to SWAN
The Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria, SWAN, was inaugurated in Nigeria on Friday 28th April, 1978 by a ten (10) man founding members initiated by Chief (Mrs.) Elizabeth Adegite (FCA, PP, JP). SWAN membership is made up of all female members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
SWAN Monthly Meetings
The monthly meeting is the business meeting of the Society at which it’s activities are highlighted and planned.
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
SWAN holds its AGM during the ICAN Annual Accountants Conference every year.
Seminars
Sexual harassment seminars are usually held in tertiary institutions bi-annually to sensitize university
